"if i only had a heart..."

it's been a while.

 

i think i've moved twice since i last updated this thing.

 

and i'll prolly be moving again soon.

 

beauty school rocks my socks.

 

i'm working on the clinic floor (salon) now.

 

i think it's a lot harder than most people could ever imagine.

 

but i love it to death.

 

boys are still lame, even though i had a good october and november.

 

kinda went downhill after november.

 

oh well, i'll live.

 

saw tegan & sara again in november.

 

i'm getting another tattoo.

 

and coloring my hair.

 

and the temperature is finally out of the negative degrees today!

 

YAY!

 

i feel like i should have more to say after so long.

 

but that's all i got for now.

a good day so far.

i won the updo competition at school.

i never win anything!

and everyone else's were really cool too, so i still don't really know how it happened.

i'll take i though...

 

i heart beauty school.

i made it through the first week and a half of beauty school.

it's pretty fun.

i've finished some books since my last post.

"life of pi" is amazing. don't let the lame cover fool you.

"god bless you, doctor kevorkian" is also pretty freaking sweet. 

my roommate rented a copy of life of pi for herself, and a copy for me so i can read it again, cuz i can't shut up about it.

then we're gonna talk about it.

then we're gonna get a cat from the humane society and name it "buster justin bobby."

after our love of ridiculous television.

played quads tonight. ended up playing six games instead of three, as one team was in need of another girl. soo... i didn't end up leaving for milwaukee until 10. which pretty much ruled out rochambo. oh well, i'll go tomorrow.

also on the list for tomorrow... i'm gonna check out the new tattoo shop down the street. depending on how their portfolios look, i might try to make an appointment. or see if they'd take me as a walk in. who knows. would also like to get some reading done. i finished "slaughterhouse 5" and "lolita." i started "i know this much is true," and "life of pi." want to finish them both by the weekend, although it will be nearly impossible.

logan's also coming to hang out tomorrow. he's leaving for florida on thursday, and won't be back for a month and a half. don't know if that's really a relationship i want to get into at the moment. we'll see how things go i guess.

and as for my new "tendencies," i've avoided them both today. go me.

wow. it's been a while.

 

 i passed my recert. therefore i've been working non-stop. i've had 2 days off all summer.

 

went to summerfest thursday with nick and chandler. we saw earl greyhound and wolfmother. both of whom were amazing live. we stayed at my apt and walked from there so it was sweet. we also went to pattyburger afterward, which was delicious.

 

then, my brother, kevin and i went back to summerfest on friday. we mostly just people-watched, but we caught a little bit of silversun pickups and a bit of sum 41. sum 41 fans were annoying as hell. in case you were wondering.

 

worked all weekend. played quads tonight, and won 2 out of 3. it's nice to win every once in a while. tomorrow i have the day off. don't really know what i'm gonna do. prolly wash/clean out my car. and read, since i don't really get to to it much at work anymore.

 

then wednesday is the 4th of july, which means hell day at work cuz it's gonna be so busy. i work an 11-7. boo. but... thursday, nick wants to do a day in madison, including dig n save, goodwills, and state street. i'm pretty pumped.

 

overall, things have just been going well. i know i should not get my hopes up, so i' m going to try not to take too much to heart.
